I am originally from Decatur Illinois where I graduated from Millikin University and majored in Biology. I completed a MS in Zoology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a PhD in Biology from Montana State University. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher with the U.S. Geological Survey in Flagstaff, Arizona. I enjoy bugs, John Steinbeck, music of all types, thrift stores, and a good long walk.
